It seems Texas will be experimenting

to see whether it would be safe to post the state’s first 85 mph speed limit, setting it on a path to have the highest posted speed limit in the U.S.

A few questions come to mind, not the least of which is: how can they sleep at night? Is texting more difficult, or easier, at 85 mph? What are they in such a hurry for and what TV programs are they watching when they arrive? Now we can get some answers.

I remember back when Congress lowered speed limits to 55 mph to save fuel. At 85 mph, fuel economy sure will take a backseat.
