T. Boone Pickens’ new plan is to move big-time on natural gas to power trucks and buses and such, and help us get away from foreign oil. I’ll say one thing for Pickens, he knows how to get his ideas out there.

Pickens' Plan Is a Little Thin on Some Important Issues
I wish Pickens were pushing for hydraulic fracturing (in the Marcellus shale, and elsewhere) using benign substances only, and other protections; along with helping catalyze the inevitable: public transportation networks tied to appropriate landuse planning. So necessary and simple in concept, yet so difficult in practice.
