I’m getting emails pointing out that Al Gore is profiting handsomely from his investments in climate change businesses.  A quick check on the conservative blogosphere verifies talk in this regard.

One good, recent article on the matter, reporting some questioning of Gore himself, appears in the Telegraph here.  They point out Gore has increased his personal fortune considerably since leaving office, and that he

… has made significant investments in environmentally friendly projects like carbon trading markets, solar power, biofuels, electric vehicles, sustainable fish farming and waterless lavatories.

He added that he had put “every penny” he has made from his investments into the non-profit Alliance for Climate Protection, which campaigns for solutions to climate change.

In a heated exchange Mr Gore said: “If you believe that the reason I have been working on this issue for 30 years is because of greed, you don’t know me.”

It has been noted that most people holding all this against Gore are climate change deniers.  Would that we could get an unbiased analysis of the matter.
